I have been here for a year and so far the company is great. Great pay, great benefits, and great people. If you are not from the industry there's a lot to learn though.

Learned but excessive work

Can be a good work place with occasional treats and lunch, but manager asks for tasks beyond your role. Hard to move up internally. Culture is good, but people work very long hours.

The White House NJ world wide was a dream campus to go to each day. You see wildlife. Our area where we went to eat was made up with the most healthy diverse food.
Everyone was very friendly with a diverse workforce. We celebrated all coutures. I miss it.

Work Life Balance Company, Great Benefits

Merck has amazing benefits and a schedule that fits your needs. Top work life balance company. There are several departments you can grow into; most do require a degree so if you don't have one you will be stuck in the department you apply into, but Merck also offers reimbursement for college credit courses. The workplace culture could be a lot better, bad attitudes and not much teamwork, also needs more of management to be present. Lots of contractors hired but no future of a permanent position which makes the team divided many times as contractors are not able to get the recognition, attend certain work events, or be included on certain organizational emails because they are a contractor. Contractors have awful benefits compared to Merck employees and no guarantee of a position due to budget.
