If you are not, you have no movement and no options. There is a lot of talent at MSG but unfortunately politics and political scheming gets in the way all too often. HR changes their position on something or someone based on the current leadership at the time so they are not a resource and can even be dangerous at times. Beware of anyone at a VP level or above - as they typically are the ones with targets on their backs, they will do whatever is necessary to shift blame to anyone but themselves. I’ve seen way too many lose their jobs over it. The ability to work on these iconic brands is the best part of the job ( and people do work HARD). There's no clear path for advancement (especially if you're a woman), if you aren't a favorite -- they won't even notice you aren't in meetings.
