The only con was that I was fully remote and worked ina different state and did not get to experience the office environment… but that is not a reflection on the company, just my personal circumstance

There was a company wide meeting talking about career pathing for employees, but it was action-less words. 401k matching was nixed. I've taken on much more work than my title or pay would presume. Despite all positive reviews, I've had no career growth (even just pay). Many employees left for better opportunity because the company won't even give inflation adjusted merit increases. Executive leadership dangled the carrot with talk about merit salary increases being postponed until Sept., only to find out this month (15 months since last measly merit increase) there will be none this year.

It is much more expensive to hire and train new employees (especially in experienced/skilled positions) than to give decent growth opportunities (even just decent pay increases) to current employees. We are losing good people for a reason.
