• Some innovative products, some unique competitiveness in the financial market / wealth management industry, which is good for clients.
• Highly flexible and efficient company, Easy to find any colleagues from other departments and they are willing to help.
• Positive atmosphere / environment which gives employees some hope / vision.

• Horrible mainland Chinese company culture. Not trust-worthy on any single promises. Horrible track record on treating employees.
• Always claims itself to be high-net-worth wealth manager / benchmarking private banks, but actually a lie. The client structure (Most of the clients are retail) and the profit structure (Around 50% of revenue comes from insurance products) is exactly similar to retail banking (with some VIP banking in the retail sector, zero "real institutional clients").
• Company policies changing entirely 100% literally every day, every week, every quarter, Chaotic without any clear directions.
• The whole company is still like a start-up company (backward management, primitive ways of doing things without proper support) although with a history of already 20 years, but plenty of office politics and typical toxic Chinese firm culture.
• Rules are not clear here with huge compliance risk, extremely difficult to figure out even for a very experienced employee due to intransparency. Employees generally need to make use of such information gap or intransparency to find advantages or benefits for themselves.
• The whole company (including but not limited to management, HR, experienced employees) is lying too much about company situation in order to mislead candidates into choosing the company, and hence lots of wrong expectations made for candidates / new employees and they leave fast.
• Extremely high turn-over rate, many employees do not stay more than 1 year. Keeps recruiting rich people in order to focus on bringing in client resources but let go soon, similar to an insurance company recruiting agents/sales in HK.
