Dismal career growth opportunities
|
Bad place if you want growth. Very political, poor benefits and compensation. Extremely high pressure to work weekend and deliver. Bad quality products with lots of customer support calls.

High paced, high growth
|
Overall a fantastic company with great leadership but the hyper growth of the company can take its toll on you and feel like a pressure cooker.
Work life balance needs to be worked on or the company will easily have you working 60 hour weeks.

A typical day at work

Company is growing and there’s so much to learn. However, there are teams trying to compete with each other within organizations. Unnecessarily meetings, no clear guidelines and can end up working 60 hours per week.

Mostly a productive and empowered workforce
|
You are expected to manage your time and deliverables. Management is supportive. but sometimes in your day to day business. Director level and above leaders are trying to manage the exponential growth, some dealing with the challenges well while many struggle.
|
Time management on your own
|
An expectation that the employee will figure out pulling the next rabbit out of the hat.

Excellent place to grow your career
|
Excellent opportunities and leadership. Lots of work and fast-paced environment, but you'll learn a lot and be challenged. Not for someone looking to coast.

Job seekers beware!
|
This company is engulfed in utter chaos, lacking a clear sense of direction for the future. A staggering 80% of the exceptional leadership has been replaced with individuals known for making ruthless cuts across various departments like Services, Marketing, Communications, and Sales. The once-strong connection with leadership has been severed. The company's focus has shifted more towards profits at the expense of human beings, leaving no room for compassion. Transparency is practically non-existent, especially concerning the return to work policies. They claim it's for the employees' benefit, but the truth is it's primarily driven by tax breaks. Human Resources leaves much to be desired, with shockingly inexcusable behavior going unchecked in a toxic and hostile work environment. I've witnessed things I never thought possible, even having worked at numerous technology companies. Unfortunately, these issues trickle down from the very top, starting with the CEO and the Head of Human Resources.
Based on my experience, companies that mistreat their employees rarely achieve genuine success. It's perplexing how they could have received a "best places to work" award, which raises suspicion. Although the company may exhibit pockets of greatness, it is vital to trust your instincts. If something feels off, it likely is.
College graduates: Run. You will not have mentors here. Middle Management: No room for growth unless you are part of the click. Executives: You’re treated just as bad as everyone else.
Pros: Employee Stock Purchase Plan & medical benefits
Cons: Limited opportunities for career progression. Poor leadership. Toxic work environment. Excellent employees/co-workers vanish without warning or explanation.

Good company, bad management
|
Great entry level position to learn about Palo Alto products and cybersecurity with the hopes of graduating into a higher level role. Bad management with bad communication made it very stressful.

Palo Alto Networks is a great place to work. The product suite is cutting edge and always relevant, the benefits and pay are great, and the culture is second to none.
