there really isn't any, they love to gaslight you into thinking that it's a great place to work. but all of the smoke and mirrors aren't worth it.

It's a revolving door. The HR dept hires/fires recruiters like nothing I've ever seen at a company before. They fired the top recruiter while I worked there. For "cultural" differences. She was phenomenal. However, they didn't like her personality. I saw at least 20 people come and go in the sales recruitment dept. out of the 6 months I worked there. Horrible place to work. I cannot express enough distain.

Working for Paycom for the past 4 years has been been a mixed experience.
The company’s product and people working on delivering those products are excellent.
It seems like executive leadership is having knee jerk reactions and doing whatever they can to get the stock price back to where it was.
I have to track meetings in no less than 4 places just to prove I’m actually doing my job. They are constantly adding pointless admin tasks to prove you are doing your work. These tasks are on top of the standard workflows that any company does. People are already at their limits with the workload and adding pointless tracking the hundreds of tasks we do on top of this is insane.
Apparently dressing too casual is bad for the stock price, so they announce a dress code change on Friday that goes into affect on Monday. No time to replace your wardrobe.
The company has no respect for their employees and all of their recent changes attempting to make everyone more productive are at the cost of hurting morale .

My best 2 days here were my first and last days here. This is not a technology company. Imagine you still sell xerox machines in 2024 with micromanagement, 12 hour days, and ridiculous territories. That’s Paycom. But don’t take my word for it. Read literally any forum and see the same story reposted by current and former reps. They will not respect your time. You’ll get emails and calls at all hours from management. You are the AE, BDR, CSM, and customer support. All meetings are 100% in person, meaning you will drive hours in a single day for a handful of clients. Lastly, guidance will change on a whim with zero preparation. I’d advise anyone with prior experience to read Glassdoor and Reddit reviews before coming here.

I’m going to be completely and thoroughly honest here. I thought paycom was going to be THAT job for me especially coming right out of college. Being a fresh graduate is already hard enough as is because you have to prepare for the real world. However, upon my recruitment I was very excited to be a part of paycom when I first got hired but as time went on the cracks began to show through more and more. They don’t tell you that once you’re done with training you’re left to figure things out on your own and basically sink or swim which you won’t swim in this type of environment prepare to sink and be overworked. I started seeing people cry and have mental breakdowns at their desks because they’re overwhelmed with clients and their lead and what really sent me over the edge was this week they decided to abruptly enforce the dress code to business casual assuming that everyone has the funds to go shopping right away for business attire , how convenient is that??? At least provide a stipend for people and compensate us , we have bills to pay too. Oh and don’t get me started on the emails!! You can’t have a simple off day without finding coverage for your emails, god forbid you have some big trip planned ! You’ll have to find a trusted co worker friend to watch them for you on top of their own personal duties that they have too. Overall I wish I would’ve steered clear of this wretched place. Good luck future specialists !!! You’re gonna need it! There’s no work life balance here prepare to be overworked!
P.S. there’s also no room for growth here ! how brilliant is that !
