Marketing Group Quality has gone down significantly

Overall compensation is strong. Base pay is good and the company pays out bonuses at fair levels even in times of financial stress. Senior leadership is generally pretty responsive and communicative.
|
Marketing department leadership is weak. Communication from the marketing leadership team breeds confusion and constant re-work. The most recently hired VP is particularly bad. The team also does not play well with the majority of the rest of the company, creating an adversarial relationship as many of my cross-functional associates have confided to me.
