I was employed for about 13 months at Park hotels & resorts! I will say this is the most tedious and pointless job I have ever work in my career! I left due to lack of fairness, and unable to take vacation! I was forced to take vacation and then told by the senior fixed asset manager to make sure I do my work on those days! HR didn’t do a thing and the manager got recognized for breaking basic labor laws! My replacement didn’t even last 6 months! If you have options stay away Director call: the various staff within the tax depot abruptly left after a new vp entered the organization! A tax director was contracted to essentially do the work left open by the tax depot turnover! During a call the director of accounting, senior investment manager and other members all were talking negatively about the Tax director! It was demoralizing and quite frankly low! It was in this moment…..I had quietly quit! I ended up doing a bet with a coworker! See how long management will know that I am not working effectively! It took them 19 pay periods to catch on! I ended up passing my CPA and moving on with my life to another position!
