job was not hard to pick up or learn. Half was cleaning, the other half was attending to people at the front desk. Only issue at my location was the amount of managers we went through.

Overall good place to work. Good hours, not hard. I enjoy the customers and co-workers. Daily tasks are monotonous. Cleaning, helping customers, providing good service, listening to complaints etc.
You get a free membership and flexible hours.

Laid back for the most part. There is a lot of unrealistic cleaning expectations.You will have to life heavy treadmilles , pressure wash showers , and run the front desk. You work with a lot of cool people which is a plus. I enjoyed my time despite the negatives

Good for college students

Easy work, as a regular employee, managers will always try to work with your schedule so it’s a good job for students in college looking for some money while still having time study. Managers/assistant managers require full time schedule but still pretty easy work, delegating tasks and making sure the KPI’s are average or above, reaching out to upset members who leave poor reviews, inventory, etc. Pay is not that great though.

You’re over worked and underpaid with little to no appreciation. They don’t promote internally and will pass you up for promotions often. My manager would tell me that he likes to see me angry and wouldn’t provide support when needed.

Horrible place to work
|
I worked maintenance for the JP Management franchise and I hated every minute of it, they are a horrible place to work. Way underpaid for my position. I had to service 9 locations by myself and my workload just kept getting bigger and bigger. They have unrealistic expectations when it comes to Maintenance, they also don’t listen to a word I said when coming to repairs at the clubs. They treated me like I was dumb and didn’t know what I was doing. They would come and check on their clubs every so often just to save face and make people feel like they cared. They refused to out me through proper training for equipment repairs but yet expected me to do all the repairs. I would never recommend anyone unless you want to be treated like you’re worthless….
