Work was fair, benefits were good, but little by little that all seemed to disappear. Since 2020 I've seen a number of supervisors and upper management move on to new jobs, like rats leaving a sinking ship. Work has slowed down considerably due to poor predictive planning and lake of snow (our driving force for sales.) We have so much inventory they laid off half the plants in all 3 locations. What is the best part of working at the company? Good people, no drama, caring management and corporate engagement. Decent benefits, always offering new opportunities internally and training. Open to ideas. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Deadlines Reliance on suppliers for parts to get out jobs What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Lifting each other up, training is available to work the way up the ladder, OT available if you want it. Respect each other. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Lots of travel planning, and meeting scheduling. Expense report assistance for sales people. Assist marketing with company jackets and other supplies. Assign leads that come into the website to sales. Audit assistance for accounting. A lot of fabrication work I was doing in the new building and no chance I would ever want to leave thanks to Rugby. Then by the end of 2022 corporate has decided to start pushing out there own products of dump bodies and landscaper called Dynapro. Dynapro come from Milwaukee when they come into the facility it’s all ready panted and most of it is bolted together just so that it can go out to the customer when it’s done. Nobody likes them including myself because of the amount of repainting and hiccups! Upper management don’t see the full picture when it comes to these. Regarding with my boss and lead we got along great. Here and there you run into co workers who will give you an attitude and be thinking he or her is in charge. Overall I was proud of my time here. It was fun when I started but it went downhill when dynapros came in to replace rugby. Not really a career choice. Welding is not a lot in this place now to when I first started. Boss and I got along good and couple of coworkers. Benefits are decent. If I had a choice I would go back. What is the best part of working at the company? Team work. One job that I miss alot. Close to home. Felt like working with family. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? I didn't have any. I never had any stressful situation. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Awesome. If I could go back to work there, I would not hesitate. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Very relaxing. Meet alot of good people and I learned alot about Lift Trucks. Makes up for all those that they keep hired, and poorly function. We you get hired for, you will not do. You will be all over the place. You get the beautiful scenery of downtown Baltimore, and will be reinforced to get pepper spray. What is the best part of working at the company? My co-workers and I work together as a team. And we all get along. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The supervisor and the demand to Produce,Produce, Produce! What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Fast pace and at times unachievable demand! What is a typical day like for you at the company? Long days. Ten and 1/2 hours a day taxes your work-life balance. Summers are extremely hot! Winters are so cold you need tobwear a hat and coat indoors!
