This is a great place to work. Especially if you are just starting out and looking for different options and opportunities. Your efforts will be recognized and embraced. You can into programs and apprenticeships and get into higher paying jobs or management simply by showing up, working hard and keeping good attendance. You’ll have to start from the bottom and work your way up if you don’t have qualifications for a position more advanced. But you still have options and opportunities if you have the work ethic and determination. I’ve worked for Post Consumer Brands since June of 2023, at the Northfeild location in Minnesota. I have zero complaints. You work a scheduled 15 days a month with every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday off as an operator. Overtime is available usually and it’s busier during the summer, Fall and Winter. I was never forced overtime and there hasn’t been layoffs according to many people that have worked there for 20 plus years. Possibly never but I’m not 100% positive. They believe they can treat you how ever they like as long as they view you are being paid enough. Policies change from day to day and are enforced on a case to case basis. You will constantly be asked to work at 150% for 12 hour shifts as they never have enough employees to properly cover a shift. The job is easy but the environment was terrible . Constantly being mandated 12hr shifts everyday because they can’t keep a staff, and when you tell them all they said was “ we’re working on it “ . That went on for a year and 3 months sent me right back into my anxiety so I left. If you decide to work there goodluck.
