Poorly run mill not enough parts to keep equipment running...poor company, horrible leadership throughout the whole mill yeah they start with decent pay but I promise it’s not worth it with the supervisors you will have to deal with. No morals at all in that town

Maintenance dept. was top notch. Mangers were unplugged with unrealistic expectations. Should have listened to career paper makers and maintenance techs who knew what it took to run the mill. Hate it closed. One of the best jobs I had.

They do not care about their employees. The job is not what they make it out to be. The Union is in with the salary workers and really behind the lines do what the salary workers want. Terribly unsafe conditions. Misreable place, no where near worth the money.

Professional enviroment where people did their best
|
The Resolute Forest Products Newsprint mill that I worked in shut down permanently on Jan. 19, 2020. The reason for the shut down was unfavorable market conditions. I hope I am able to find another job as good as this one. The employees and management did their best. The most satisfying days for me were when I overcame challenges to get equipment back up and running. If I could find another like that I would be very thankful.
