Company has grown quite a bit, campus is really nice, some very nice people. Kind of an old school mentality, not a lot of diversity, some also really mean people, a lot of cronyism and low pay

My company was consolidated by Raymond James and it was for the better. My pay increased and so did the benefits. Overall, they seem to do a good job.

Think and research carefully about the FA if you want to work for in a branch. If you are not on the good side of an FA you will find yourself without a job sooner than you think. The pay scale is absurd with no salary range. The FA can decide how much salary you are getting. Beware if the FA is "high performing" success gets to their head and can just treat you like a piece of object that can be disposed of anytime. The pay is an entry level range but expectation is very high. The organization has a great culture, but in the branch is not always a healthy environment.

Toxic workplace at the branch
|
Very busy in most of the days, with only 30 minute unpaid lunch. Strong culture of micromgt and nepotism. Salary is too low not at par with the workload. FA can be arrogant and have 100% control of staff working for them. No structure on the performance mgt. Wage solely depends how a staff is favoured by the FA. Toxic place to work.

Like every where you’re always going to find some fake people.

90 percent all positive. I felt at home there.

That would depend on your position I was in a position where you would have normal weekly meetings. setting expectations for what task needs to be completed

My paycheck comes on time twice a month.

Management continuing to change processes on a weekly basis to try and justify their positions and inadequate technology.

They treat employees like slaves who are lucky to be there. Every opportunity they see to show you they are under your thumb they use.

Typical 8-5 and the job is good except when management needs to get in your way.

Management sometimes a little incompetent. Good place to intern though.

I worked at a branch office and sometimes RJ itself was definitely annoying to deal with and they seemed like they did not understand their job, good place overall to work in terms of learning about Wealth Management or Banking depending on internship. An easier alternative to bigger banks where you still learn a ton.
