If you miss a goal or make too many mistakes you are demoted and your pay is adjusted by thousands of dollars. They think nothing of playing with people’s money. Some mistakes are just typos or nonsense, human error and you can be demoted over it
Leaders have no idea how to actually do the jobs on the team they are leading,
Significant change to overall morale when company went public. Very much a corporate feel now which is opposite of what they used to pride themselves in.
Anyone in senior leadership a few years ago is pretty much gone now. Many “Retired” or they resigned.
Optional buy outs and then lay offs happened and now certain areas are very short staffed with no solution to this. They will not hire anyone and are now limiting any overtime.
Extremely stressful every day to meet goals and then asked to have performance goals as well, however there are no raises so this is just a waste of everyone’s time. There are yearly reviews that mean nothing since no one is promoted or given raises based on this information. You have to be interviewed for a promotion and jump through hoops to even be considered for one. Also if you get promoted, your pay will not increase now due to their change in pay structures that they do at their convenience. They say one thing and a year later say sorry you were told wrong information.
Talks of salary adjustments and new pay scales that could results in many losing upwards of $10-20k a year or more and this is just supposed to be “accepted” and we all just have to deal with it and be grateful to have a job, is what is being portrayed.
Many very experienced and talented workers took the voluntary buy outs and it was a huge error yet no one in senior leadership has acknowledged that was a horrible idea. It saved them from being like the rest of the banks and title companies at the time doing layoffs, however instead of just laying off the right people, that should have been fired years ago, great workers left and the place was left with sub-par workers and now different areas are struggling.

Cut meetings down. Leadership sits in meetings all day, every day. Put people that can actually do the jobs and have experience in the roles of those that they lead. Stop messing with your good workers, give raises, bonuses and incentives based on good work and loyalty before they all leave
