Worked here as a student and management was very flexible and accommodating for my schedule. Everyone who worked there was nice and got along for the most part. Pretty standard retail job if that's what you're looking for.

It's a privilege to work here

Not satisfied in the apparel creation teams in the NYC HQ. There is no clear sense of purpose.I feel stressed at work, micromanaged. Not given support and encouragement. People at work do not appreciate anyone. cannot trust people because that is the atmosphere they foster. No sense of belonging. Work environment is not inclusive and respectful of people. My work tasks, does not feel energizing. Some Apparel teams do not work efficiently, blaming culture, low motivation, high turn over Leaders/Management expect replies to Microsoft teams messages within seconds of sending a message at all hours. I can’t even take lunch break or take time off sick without getting a phone call. RL prioritizes the work not the people's health.

Personal work good, management poor.

There are a lot of initiatives within the company coming from corporate level that state they encourage development but everything I try to use toward my own personal growth is blocked and delayed by management. Did “goal setting” over half a year ago but the one goal I chose has been pushed back constantly. Upper store management spend too much time in offices but there are no tangible results as to what they do elsewhere in the shop.

Absolutely no work/life balance, which is crazy to say for a retail store. You will never get a weekend day off and if you think you are part time, think again because you will be working full time hours.

Good benefits and company morals. Can see that efforts are put in to retain employees. However management style varies greatly depends on individual team leader, same goes for working hours and work load. The company structure is somewhat cumbersome compared to it's competitors. A lot of decision making comes from overseas.

Management was inexperienced and the Regional team didn’t seem to care/mind, as long as sales goals were being met. The goals only were met because of location and hungry sales team. Focus (inventory allocation, training and support) was given to flagship stores only.
