Talented team with some gaps in management
|
RingCentral has a talented, diverse, and largely ego-free team. On many occasions, my team members (from other teams as well), were willing to go the extra mile and help whenever it was needed. RingCentral's products are market-leading, but their support is often lacking. The biggest shortcoming I experienced was the inability of upper mid-management to convert the Executive team's vision to an actionable and measurable reality.

The only good things now are flexibility and parental leave. People keep quitting but they are not hiring to replace anyone, just spreading out the work with no extra pay or title.

NO WORK LIFE BALANCE

First of all, product training only last for 2 weeks. Its not enough knowing that the product is very broad, they let us experience call on the 3rd week and has this ''practice makes perfect'' attitude which is not really applicable to all since most of the concern is too complex. On the training, we have this supervisor who has favoritism, HE only assists those who perform and mostly GUY. Supports are not approachable too, especially in devbay. He is always grumpy whenever we ask question. Its so traumatizing working in this kind of environment. And also WE always have dispute with the overtime pay.
