However, after four years with the organization, I must revise my rating downward. Regrettably, it stands as one of the lowest-paying jobs in the industry and fails to keep pace with both competition and inflation. Compounding the issue, the company has undergone integration into IXL Learning, with a subsequent focus solely on cost reduction. Consequently, employees are increasingly expected to deliver more with stagnant or diminished compensation. Many of my colleagues, myself included, remain in our roles due to the relationships we've cultivated with our learners. However, this situation is unsustainable in the long term. It's disheartening to acknowledge that I could potentially earn more in the service industry, which typically demands neither a degree nor bilingual skills. While I have appreciated my tenure with Rosetta Stone, I'm cognizant that my days here are numbered due to the absence of a livable wage. They are motivated and a lot of fun to work with. The tutoring leads are responsive and largely kind and supportive. However the pay is very low for such skilled work and is not competitive for the field.
