Not much of a con- but Branding vs competition.
Our technology blows them away when we get bake offs, but sometimes struggle to get seats due to perception of just an "EDR vendor" , Need more market share with CNAPP and DataLake - which will grow!

Great people, room for growth if you are favored by the C-level, there are people really trying to do right by the customers when the work isn't interrupted by hourly non-revenue driven requests.
|
C-level strategy changes constantly so the measurements of success are never the same and the changes in measurement are used to lay other people off, there is a lot of distrust and disrespect in this company so it's really hard to work cross-functionally. Leaders will literally tell you that they refuse to work with you on mutually beneficial projects. Distrust is typical for cybersecurity company but this was the worst after several cyber companies. They hired a slew of VPs in 2023 that came in and created absolute chaos instead of making business initiatives more clear. They should have promoted within a bit more to stay productive.

Get rid of those VPs that you are wasting money on. They are not helping to bring in recurring revenue, they waste product, CSM, marketing and sales teams' time, and make the user experience absolutely chaotic.
