while its wonderful that this is a company where there is possibility for growth within the company, i do suggest that taking employees opinions should be taken into consideration. In my two years, ive seen many Headcoaches and AC’s that have simply done more harm than well for their stores. While it shouldn’t be based on who is liked the most, we should look at our core values and see who can best apply them. The best era i worked at sweetgreen was in 2022 when it was a family environment due to my higher ups, they made you wanna be at work and not disappoint.

Although it is great pay and I am grateful for the time I've spent there, the amount of stress and inappropriate relationships held at the establishment is a complete waste of time and experience. I have not learned anything valuable in my role. The Area leader is immature and the Coaches (Head and Assistant) don't know what coaching means.

Spend more time investing in your current leaders instead of expanding and hiring just to fill a spot. You are losing a lot of valuable people who care every time they come into work to leaders and coaches who use their position to make friends and point blame rather than improve on the strengths of their team members. There's so much potential, but it's wasted on those who are negatively affecting the culture (if there is one) and the overall experience. I use to believe in the company, now I know the truth.
