Little advancement opportunities. Typical Mid-Sized New England company, where 99% of upper management (just about all management in fact) is the gentlemen's club of elderly white males. That said, the workplace feels very inclusive for all. But there is clear glass ceiling for Women and Minorities in any management roles. The Energy Business, Oil/Natural Gas is somewhat in decline.

They care about their employees. The supervisors always recognize you for your hard work and performance. Everyone tends to get along
|
The pay was super low for the industry. Lost very good employees about 5 to be exact had to leave for them to finally raise the pay rates. A lot of maintenance guys that used to be in operations stop helping out once they get that position. When clearly operations is busy and we can’t attend to multiple things at once. There’s definitely favorites when it comes to people moving up to other departments. Much more but that’s a couple. Health insurance is trash too

Work is pretty easy and there is a very low amount of stress. Co-workers are all very helpful and easy to get along with. There are bonuses and the company tries to have employee engagement through events and activities.

First glance: Facility itself for a energy company seems pretty basic for an office You have to purchase your own computer equipment to work remote. Some departments are mandated to be in office while others haven't stepped foot there since 2020. Not a lot of positive feedback. Some micromanagement Not a lot of cross department collaboration Lots of hijinx and wasted time by many Old tech and the company is too stingy to invest in new in order for their employees to work efficiently.
