Startek Honduras is full with favoritism, there are people there that are practically untouchable even when they are not performing well or basically fail to carry out with their actual job, and this come at all levels, HR, Recruitment, OPS and High Management.
With that in mind, you can imagine that is virtually impossible to get any promotion if you are not on good terms with the right people.
Secondly, sometimes OPS and HR don´t make sense with their decisions while promoting someone, they promote people with harassments reports, people that doesn´t have good metrics or are plainly bad employees.
Some other positions are never opened to the general public, but they do promote someone else, and if they open those positions, usually they already have a name for it.
Startek was once a decent place to work, you were treated with respect and as a person, but that mindset changed for the worse, now you are just a number and nothing more, "you are replaceable" seems to be their new slogan, and corruption seems to be the core value

Promote the right people, invest on your leaders, a 15 minutes course every 5 months doesn´t count as training your leaders.
Return to the "People first" mindset, when that was somewhat the mindset before, Startek didn´t have issues to hire, now, even with a $500 or more, hiring bonus, no one wants to work with you.
