Great supervisors. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? They have the strictest attendance policy I've EVER seen! You don't even want to be late in the first 30 days! Also, there is NO OVERTIME. It's very rare that you'll get extra hours. To me that's a HUGE negative. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It's very laid back. What is a typical day like for you at the company? I mean it's like most other weld shops. You're pretty much left to your own devices. Keeping the job. They will ask you leave the company the moment it becomes a bit inconvenient to them. They have laid off their entire accounts team and moved it overseas. So beware taking a job here as it may not last. Their employee satisfaction is declining and has the worst record in health and safety in the world compared to other Terex. Being a US owned company it has an amazon type culture. Good colleagues to work with makes work pressure bearable. Direct supervisor great to work with. All supporting departments, not so much. Company outsources all AP, AR and IT. Impacts internal operations too much negatively. Has major negative impact on external customers. Culture is one of great apathy. No real sense of urgency towards those who provide business to company. Hardest part of job, meeting monthly revenue #. Internal company processes are like working in a government role. Not conducive to customer service. Enjoyed working for company at start, internal apathetic culture, all the outsourcing made for a poor working environment. Not saying it was easy I definitely worked for it. The different teams I have worked with are great. If you would like to further your education there's a great program available to reimburse your tuition & books. I work for a department and the demand for my efforts to bring high energy, attentiveness, willingness to stay after shift is consistently demanding. There is no easy role on site.
