Position Overview
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance of Genie access equipment throughout the Sydney area, based out of Glendenning.
Scheduled servicing and breakdown repair of our customers equipment are key aspects of this role. There will be ad hoc Workshop requirements including but not limited to warranty repair and support of our pre-delivery process.
The successful candidate will be required to ensure repairs are completed in line with Genie and Australian Standards.
Skills and Experience
Our ideal applicant will have experience with Elevating Work Platforms and hold a trade certificate within a Mechanical field, as well as a current Australian driver's license. The following are desirable attributes:
Experience in the Access Industry.
Hydraulics and Electrical experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work autonomously.

Position Overview

Liaise with workshop management & stock controller regarding machine status and requirements whenever directed and in a courteous and respectful manor.
Following company processes and procedures in accordance with company policy and safety guidelines at all times.
Responsible handling of company vehicles, tooling, working aids, spare parts on a daily basis.
Respectful interaction between customers, fellow team members and management and contractors whenever required.
Experience and Qualifications
Demonstrated interest in mechanics/vehicle/machinery repairs.
A Current Forklift License.
A Current driver’s license.
EWP ticket and high risk license desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of CoR (Chain of Responsibility) desirable but not essential.
Experience in a similar role is desirable.
Attention to detail.
Willingness and ability to follow directions and instructions.
Actively take part in team group projects.

Assist and support Supervisors in the delivery of Safety Inductions.
Partner with managers and team members in day-to-day risk management activities, including identification of hazards and implementation of effective control strategies.
Work with sites to support the implementation of 5S Standards as directed.
Assist with reporting on the compliance of all Terex Road Maps, Polices, Procedures, Standard Work Instructions and documented HSE Management System as directed.
Any other duties as required or directed by the HSE Manager.
Experience and Qualifications
Certificate 4 in OH&S or equivalent.
Previous experience in review of business management systems within a similar role.
Advanced level of skill in Word Processing and Microsoft Excel.
Previous auditing experience is desirable.
Organised, structured and detail orientated.

Liaise with suppliers locally, nationally and internationally to provide accurate information in relation to pricing availability and supply of spare parts for customer orders.
Identify spare parts from Terex online systems, parts books and electronic catalogues for correct part numbers.
Provide customer quotations for the supply of spare parts in a timely and accurate manner.
Raise purchase orders on suppliers for parts required for customer orders, including calculating and converting foreign currency and required.
Assist and participate in stock takes as required.
Assist with Receiving and despatching stock such as unpacking of parts, checking of goods received, labelling of parts, picking and packing of parts, strapping and wrapping of pallets, and liaising with the Stores supervisor with any receiving issues and relocating of parts.
Liaising with Spare parts, Service parts interpreter, customers, supplier's and freight carriers for orders, inward and outward stock movement, over or under supplies and any other stocking and shipping requirements.
Liaise with internal customers, and Terex departments both locally and internationally such as, Warehouse, Engineering, Service, Quality and Product Support.
Assisting with internal customers such as picking of parts for the Aftermarket Department, raising purchase orders for consumables, raising stock requisitions from other branches, and booking parts to Services.
Operating and general maintenance of the forklift for unloading and loading of trucks and storage of pallet racking in addition, refuelling and conducting general safety checks.
General housekeeping and other duties as directed by the Branch manager including taking part in any training as required.

Supervise and instruct apprentices, trade assistants and sub-contractors in regard to the performance of Maintenance tasks, if required.
Represent the company in its relationships with major customers.
Take part in training and multi-tasking.
What we need you to have:
A proven commitment to safety.
Heavy Diesel mechanic or Mechanic trade qualification.
Driver’s License and HR License.
Crane mechanic experience or experience with heavy equipment / plant, electrics and hydraulics is highly regarded.
Self-motivation and ability to work unsupervised.
Ability to problem solve routine issues.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A demonstrated customer focus.

Genie is a Terex brand which provides high quality EWP's, scissor & boom lift equipment throughout Australia.
Position Overview
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance of Genie access equipment throughout the Sydney area, based out of Glendenning.
Scheduled servicing and breakdown repair of our customers equipment are key aspects of this role. There will be ad hoc Workshop requirements including but not limited to warranty repair and support of our pre-delivery process.
The successful candidate will be required to ensure repairs are completed in line with Genie and Australian Standards.
Skills and Experience
Our ideal applicant will have experience with Elevating Work Platforms and hold a trade certificate within a Mechanical field, as well as a current Australian driver's license. The following are desirable attributes:
Experience in the Access Industry.
Hydraulics and Electrical experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work autonomously.
A company vehicle will be provided for the purposes of this position.

Position Summary
The PDI Supervisor will begin in a hands-on role preparing machines for customer delivery, ensuring that the Genie product line meets Australian standards and customer requirements. They must ensure that equipment preparation is on track, with any issue identified and relevant documentation submitted.
This position is also responsible for the general operations of the Pre-Delivery workshop whilst ensuring that all company procedures, processes, policies and safety guidelines are adhered to at all times.
Responsibilities
Ensure that the PDI schedule is on track, addressing any issues that arise and submitting the relevant documentation.
Carry out efficient pre-delivery of Genie equipment.
Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed and submitted on time and accurately.
Supervise and train team members effectively.
Use hazard identification tools and systems to ensure safe work practices are used and work areas are hazard free.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Develop and maintain effective ongoing relationships with key customers.
Liaise with colleagues regarding machine status and requirements whenever directed and in a courteous and respectful manner.
Skills and Experience
Current Mechanical Trade Qualification (Light Vehicle or Heavy Duty) or equivalent.
Current Driver’s License.
The ability to perform troubleshooting and repair work on machinery.
Experience in a similar role (e.g. supervising a workshop, or performing service work on mechanical and hydraulic systems) (desirable).
Forklift licence (desirable).
