Great Company culture but company is out of step with the market

The company culture is unique but they are basically a small commercial focused carrier. The salary for middle market UW positions is way under market value and they donât invest enough in there middle market unit/segment to be a competitive market with product and appetite or servicing customers. Very frustrating!

HeVy workload, expectations unrealistic. Great benefits package

The work load is unrealistic and you are set up to fail. In addition, their ever changing business practices are impossible to keep up with. You can move up in the claims department but to achieve manager status, its who you know. Great benefits packages but you will work yourself into a health crisis before feeling like you can take vacation.

As a claims adjuster, if you take even a half day off work it is nearly impossible to ever catch up again. Agents tell customers that adjusters will contact them within 24 hours, so if you are behind and that does not happen, the customer holds you to what another party/agent tells them and the conversation immediately goes South.
