All my managers were super sweet and I was able to call the entire employee roster my family within one month. I have never felt so included and supported at a job in my life. It is by far the best job I have had. Before working at Tillys, I had no experience in sales or making connections but they trained me and even prompted me to go into sales as a career. As long as you interact with customers and get enough emails & sales for the day you should be fine. But the pay and hours are horrible, which is why i left. At one point i was only making like $50 every 2 weeks because i barely got any hours. However the management made it a hostile work environment. I was hired on with the understanding that i had a prior job which was a set schedule. On multiple times was i scheduled on days i was required to work at my other job and then i was informed that i needed to get my priorities straight and that their job came first. I learned very little while working here, and would not recommend working here. I applied, was interviewed, and got hired in August but I didn’t start working until halfway through September. Whenever I was working, I worked short shifts. Also, the minors that were there worked longer and more shifts than I did.
