C-Suite leadership is very strong. Very highly competent team overall. Great opportunities for external candidates in middle management with 10+ years experience. Fridge stocked with free drinks. | Little to no career development opportunities for up-and-coming talent. There is a lot to learn and talented people to learn from, just be prepared to take that experience elsewhere. Pay and benefits make it a worthwhile stop on the way to bigger things. Middle management is mostly autonomous and unfortunately lots of bad hiring has occurred in this area. There is a bias towards bringing in external candidates for these positions. Recently their track record of hiring for these positions has improved, but the external bias is still alive and well. No flexible work options. Remote is a dirty word at this company. That's the official stance anyway, but everyone in management and many in IT have Citrix access. So when there is a bad weather or they're ill the ruling class will fire up Citrix and everyone else will have to get their butts to work or eat up vacation days. Technology is years behind.
