UBP is a very conservative stable company by nature as a REIT. The company has a pretty clear objective and plan to get there and most of the people in the office are pretty easy to work with.
|
The environment quickly became uncomfortable, stale and hostile and when you've heard their normal annual compensation increase is 1%. Management continues to claim that the company is struggling, but when you can see the transactions and the financial growth is pretty strong it quickly becomes clear that they just do not value their employees at all.

Don't lie year after year with a sad story around Christmas time about how compensation won't be increased when the company growth continues to be strong year after year. Yes delivering high returns to investors is always a priority, but you're not going to keep any young talent if you don't give them a reason to stay.
