HR, you're doing fine. Those directly supervising the school? You've graduated high school, now act like it. Rules apply to everyone, not just the people who call you on your hypocrisy/bad behavior. Bad examples lead to bad habits. When your patients are begging you to discuss an occurrence, discuss it; don't demean their feelings by banning the topic. The goal is to reintegrate them into society, not make them feel even more isolated from it.
