I worked here briefly, would still be here had a better opportunity not come along. It's a good place to work, can be a lot of overtime depending on work load and vacations, Summer is the busy season. I was well treated, and the people for the most part were easy to get along with. Union environment, so that can be a pro or a con. Overall I recommend working at Liggett. On site cafeteria, clean, good pay and benefits, moderate stress level, tools are provided. Very hot working conditions and the management was very racial with the employees. If you were low on the totem pole as far as seniority, then you had a long wait to be promoted. The only thing good their was the money. The work is fast paced and at times can get a little overwhelming. You have to be self-sufficient and a go-getter to succeed here. Management is very fair and training is ok. This position is probably more suited to someone who already has industry experience rather than a entry-level position. Overall, this is a good company to work for if you can keep up. I know of 3 managers and 8 reps that have quit in the last 14 months. During my time we experienced two layoffs.
