They want you to move pallets over a thousand pounds up a ramp with a pulling jack. Most jobs won’t have you pushing over 500lbs in a warehouse but they expect everybody to be able to push 1500lbs. They also fire temps and give no reason for why they were terminated. If you are looking to learn new skills and pursue advancement don't bother here. The only people getting those opportunities are the people who spend every weekend partying with the bosses, or are related. For the rest of us we are stuck in a cycle of menial jobs with managers always looking to play the blame game while turning a blind eye to the above mentioned favorites. Benefits are terrible, and continue to get more expensive every year. No effort is made to clean anything, ever. If you clean something they will get mad that you are not PRODUCING. Nobody will help or show you anything after you are "trained" in. I was made to run a machine that I had no training in. If you get written up there is no retraining, or any kind of help offered to keep from repeating it. People above you will blame you because they are never wrong, and you are replaceable. You will work the weekend night shift for 15 years before you might be able to switch to weekday nights. After that it will only be 5 years to go to weekend days! The benefits have be mostly taken away. The health plan is very expensive. I was proud to say I worked here and always tried to get people to apply. Now, many years later and a lot of change to the company and I no longer say anything about it. Management has become low end and dealing with workers compensation sucks, especially working for a company that is easy to tear your body apart. Most of our supervisors are fantastic, however our management is sub-par and not easy to work or deal with. Overall, if you want a paycheck and to make the same amount of money 10-20 years down the road as a person working here for 1 year than this is the place to be. The new CEO will take Revelyst to a new beggining. This will help new hires start fresh. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? International Customer Service management. The lack of experience and profetionalism prevents the department to be a team and grow together. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Currently there is none, management wants to treat people like slaves and expects you to be full of exitement after you are told if you get cought up you will get a price, being short staff for over 2 yrs. This will never happen. What is a typical day like for you at the company? The people were amazing and the job was fun. Thr problem was when upper management and corperate decided to disregard the safety and emotional health of us lowly employees and made us work 3 12 hour shifts and 3 10 hour shifts every week. Leaving us with one day off to basically sleep. Furthermore they would insult us by allowing us 1 hour off on holidays that most other companies would pay for a full day off. The Big shots worked 5 8 hour days and got their weekends. Workers are DISPOSABLE to VIsta. They do not care at all about people. Do not work for this company if you would like to ever see your family or friends again. OSHA should fine them.
