Not the best place to work for everyone
|
Job demands a lot of your time on and off the clock. The pros have an unfair amount of work to do from contacting customers when still on another job site, making sure your metrics are where theyâre supposed to be all the time so theyâre not looked at as poor, giving customers the option to contact you anytime any day to try to trouble shoot issues so they donât send a different tech and it effects your metrics, the daily stress, very poor training system and once itâs done youâre on your own essentials unless a co worker can come to your aid. Worst of all they sell you a pipe dream when you get hired that you can make up to 100k a year when thatâs relatively not realistic for everyone.

Honestly Vivint was amazing at first and I recommend it as a part time but definently not full time. Communication wasnât very clear either, rarely any coachings after getting promoted my management before was great tho

Great culture and rewards not for those that have a family
|
Itâs like itâs built for younger bachelors and bachelorettes who want to travel away from home for 5 months at a time. And still work full time in the âoff seasonâ. If you want to advance you have to recruit a massive team. No benefits at all, only incentives and commission pay. Ton of fun with a nonstop grind 24/7. If you have the time and life to sacrifice itâs incredible and could be perfect to jumpstart your sales career. However if you have or want family or family time probably not the place.

team focused but high pressure sales
|
The work for being a "Smart Home Pro" isnt bad but there are many other variables at play. The manual labor side easy but the sales side is another beast all together. Nowhere when i applied for this position did sales pop up but you are the sales men and are forced to meet required metrics on so many different variables and is stressful at times. 100s of emails and texts/phone calls everyday are except. "Team Engagement" is great and all but having your phone blowing up day in and day out isnt for me. overall the pay is great for what you do but depending in your management it can be barrable or overstress/high pressure.

The company pushes metrics and thats all they care about. Anytime leadership tries to fight this, they are removed. The csr is not given room to actually solve customer issues, but is held to the standard of perfect solves.
