Repetitive and wasteful

Micromanaging is a constant issue here. So if you like being hounded by manager and being told on by ppl who worked for the company for years but can barely their job here all day then this place is for you.
But I would advise not to work here, there will be no career advancement without being a brown nose. Forklifts never get fixed, plus many other safety hazards to worry about, you basically work inside a bricked in corrugated death shack. On top of being an hazards warehouse, no a/c in summer, no heat in winter. The elements of the climate along with bad management will be your biggest obstacle.
Job was cool in the beginning but as time goes on, you realize you will not be properly compensated for your efforts.

If I was a little younger, I could understand the IT program I would have succeeded, but I cannot understand the computer program.

Culture and family oriented company.

IT wasn’t would I was use to. I T wasn’t up date that I was use to doing. The company is great but I can’t conform to a 44 year old computer program.

Very personable and friendly. The people are great, but I cannot conform to old computers..

Great atmosphere! Good customers and friendly.

Its like I am self-employed.
|
I'm able to work from home, take calls as needed with a Company supplied phone. Reimbursed for all mileage travel that is work related. Company credit card for all business use. Expense reports are very easy to use. Unlike working in company call centers, here I'm able to spend as much time as is needed to fully diagnose and complete resolutions. I'm able to take days off when needed vacation. As long as I've phone service, travel and when I take some time away from home I'm able to work completely remote to perform my job.

Able to work from home. Travel is always at my leisure.

Limited to fully complete total dealer, technician, and home-owner satisfaction. Mileage reimbursement time frame is not friendly.

East Coast was a good company to work for but there was no room for advancement. I worked with some really great people for eight years. I took counter and phone orders, arranged deliveries, and did some phone sales.

It was a fast paced environment. Everyone acted as a team player, management was great. The benefits were good and when it came to bonus time, they were generous. They also provided us with breakfast and or lunch fairly often.

Most coworkers are respectful and helpful. That tends to be the opposite when working with managers and executives. Environment is stressful and fast paced. Extremely hard to be promoted unless someone retires and then next in line goes the longest 10year employee. Even if they are not skilled for the job. The executive roles once vacant are not promoted from within.

Horrible Leadership

Job is an easy job and tasks. Co-workers are good teammates amongst the most of them.
Branch manger is a control freak an dang near a dictator when it comes to anything. He will ask your opinion and game plan then completely throw them aside for his own wants. He has management under him that he practically takes every power of say from them.
The pay is competitive-ish when you get a full 40hrs or more hours a week. They cut hours to beef the management pockets for bonuses while your counter, warehouse and drivers get the short end of the stick.
Culture is a good place good people outside 1-2 which is normal. But I couldn't do the constant threats of being laid off due to being slow. When in my interview they never said that it was something they did when I asked if they did that or not.
Hardest part of the job is going to work because of who you worked under. I didn't really learn anything at this job that I didn't already know. They didn't put their employees in any kind of training making it hard to help customers with their questions
