Great people, great training, fun games, great benefits. Decent pay, ran through leads, I think customer success needs more people and should be the sole focus of the company moving forward (take care or what you have). Micromanagement is a part of sales so get used to it, they will break that down to the T. Managers all have their style good and bad. Cold calling biz owners that hate us, once in awhile you get a new biz that you'll be able to sell to lmao. Product is sub-par, most of my deals/clients who signed up usually cancel in a month or less. It works sometimes for some categories in high populated areas, but it doesn't most of the time. Doesn't help you're selling to everyone and anyone who's eligible for ads. I truly do feel bad since even when you onboard them as best as possible, they still lose money. Quota is high, difficult to reach, you get compared to everyday and its rough. Honestly, comparison isn't fair since people are calling in different areas, some people get more new biz than others, and our leads are burnt to the ground. But to be fair, if you're good at this job and can sell Yelp to biz owners who've been burnt before, you can sell ice to an eskimo. It’s a lot out bound calls, a lot of people hanging up. Hard to sell over the phone. You have to make over 80 calls a day.
