I loved my manager and team. Great micro-culture with mature consideration for WLB. Other teams in the function had very different experiences, mostly positive. The company was going through some chaotic transitions during my brief tenure, but still managed to take care of people.

Since the take over from a private equity company it’s not the same company. The priority is making money not employees. Would not recommend as a good place to work.

Zendesk is in summary for people that like to work online and have no contact with work colleagues during the days, because this is the majority of the days with them: Online.
But, if that is you! Perfect! It is a very friendly and fun place to work! Has space for employees to be creative and solve complex problems at the same time! Is very respectful to diversity too.
the culture is to be yourself and have interests and respect for your peers, report everything on their software and this will help them to keep track of what you are doing online.

Great salary but environment terrible during layoffs

Salary was great for a remote recruiter role and old Zendesk (pre-2022) was an awesome place to work. Once layoffs started happening and company was bought out, the culture tanked.
