Employees are very collaborative, management does as much as they can to help out employees. There's always something to do when you need a break, be arcade games, ping pong table, or shuffleboard. When there's questions asked, employees go out of their way to help out.

Great potential, poor execution, hopeless leadership

With a CEO at the helm who cares more about personal power over toadies than about any kind of focus or plans grounded more in reality, Globalscape has experienced a sharp rise in pointy-haired boss syndrome and a series of spectacular "inorganic growth" failures culminating in a decision to "stop innovating" coupled with massive layoffs, including some of the company's most loyal and long-suffering team members that helped build the company's success in spite of its management. While Globalscape has no business being publicly traded as such a small company, the fact that it is publicly traded is the driving force behind nearly all of the continual bad decisions. Gutting the company appears aimed at temporarily maximizing profit reports in order to entice a buyout from a bigger company. I would be very cautious accepting any employment offer.

Use to be a good place to work however recent changes to management have drastically changed the environment. The current CEO is untrustworthy and quick-tempered. Changes to the benefits such as reduced vacation days have caused a loss of morale. Micromanaged 1984 culture prevails.
