Management is great and salary is a great bonus. Staff all work collectively to complete tasks. I had gained great experiences and skills in the retail industry because of opportunities I had been given by and at Briscoes Group. Job security and advancement is another bonus, management allows its staff to improve and opportunities to advance in different areas of the business including a job promotion, and regular pay rises. Overall, it is a great company that looks after its staff.

Briscoes is a fast paced work environment but it’s very enjoyable because you get you meet new people and deal with a wide range of personalities. I especially enjoy the staff as they are always friendly and prepared for anything. My overall rating of this job would be a 8.5/10.

Despite posting record profits and sales, the expectations , control and culture has been destroyed by the hr team and it’s leader. 1 Person is destroying this company from the inside out. While this person remains involved in the company you should keep a wide birth.

If your a mature minded individual with good work ethics then briscoes is not the place for you.
Lack of strong management filters down to 20 something year olds calling themselves supervisors and thinking their superior and bulling those who are not.
I thought from a large company this kind of behaviour would not be allowed to exist.. Nobody seems to care.. I found that behaviour extended to their lack of work ethics as well.
Most of the time I'd find them out the back gossiping and doing very little.. I guess if you've been allowed to get away with it for so long why Not!!!
The place is filthy and messy and lacks organization.
Not a TEAM environment with little or no support.
Always short staffed and your always Overworked..the bottom line is about making profit not about staff well being!!!
Exremely disappointed with the whole bad experience and would not recommend to anyone for future employment.
