I like that if I run into the bank President in the hall he knows my name and where I work. You don't get that at the larger banks. This bank has a high percentage of employees that have worked at the bank over ten years, that should tell you something. I have been lucky and not had this issue but I know I'm very much in the minority, BBV gives out very small annual raises you are lucky to get 3% i've heard this from managers of multiple depts. With insurance and just the cost of living going up every year it is hard to actually feel like you are getting anywhere pay wise. Depending on your dept. It can be hard to move up as well do to lack of positions since this is a small bank, but I do know if you are great at what you do they will create positions to help promote you. Job duties were pretty simple and easy to catch on. Very little room for advancement in your career. Upper Management is terrible!
