otcbb:fnrn https://www.indeed.com/cmp/first-northern-bank/reviews Apr 20th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open Open First Northern Bank Financial Service Representative III Sacramento, CA USA Management changed for the worse On typical day there is paper work on the side but, customers are our priority. Most of the customers where really nice and most employees. There are five levels below supervisor position. The first one learns the basics like how to find out information a customer may want, how to present the checking and savings accounts we offer and so on. Learning more at each level as you go up but, at level 3 when you deal with accounts they do not provide you time for just them. You are expected to do all the previous work from the lower levels. Also the management was great when I got hired then a manager was transferred from another branch. He is a dictator and everyone complained about him. Unfortunately nothing changed even thou he has made me cry at work from how controlling he is. No one at work has ever seen me cry and rarely do I ever cry. Company if great to work for when I got hired I thought this would be my career but management changed. 0.0 0.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 5.0 3.0 1.0 Jan 16th, 2021 04:42AM Mar 20th, 2021 01:13PM First Northern Community Bancorp

Work place culture was we are a team. Most enjoyable part of the job is work was working with customers and meeting their needs, In my 35 years at at the bank which allowed me to start as a part-time teller and left as VP/Financial Services Manager. Workplace culture was we are team players. Hardest part of the job was we downsized staffing. Friendly staff, worked well as a team. The people are great. They do care about promoting from within. They try hard to train well so that you are successful. otcbb:fnrn https://www.indeed.com/cmp/first-northern-bank/reviews Mar 21st, 2016 12:00AM Open Open Open First Northern Bank CSR Dixon, CA USA Great if you're new to the workforce I spent 10 years with this company. That wasn't because I wanted too. The pay is very low, the management doesn't manage, and there is no room for advancement. Lots of things happened at my branch that weren't fair. I wasn't able to move up on my map but other people were, people were allowed to be late, or no show, or wear whatever they wanted, or talk to the manager how they wanted, etc. I got sick and tired of it all plus got sick and tired of bending over backwards for the customers. The bank didn't reward you for going above and beyond. They didn't compliment you or want to see you stick around and succeed. They fail to keep long timers and there is always a turn around at the branches. I left because a customer saw something in me I knew I had and offered me a job and more pay. It was a hard change, but I'm super glad I left! It is a good job to start at fresh out of high school though. You eventually learn a lot about banking and working in a business like environment, but don't stay as long as me! Go to another bank and get paid more atleast!!!!! otcbb:fnrn https://www.indeed.com/cmp/first-northern-bank/reviews Oct 4th, 2013 12:00AM Open Open Open First Northern Bank Customer Service Representative Sacramento, CA USA Very good place to work but pay is kind of low Work was lovely except when you get nasty customers with attitude trying to cash a check that has no funds available. I love that you can learn so much about the banking industry and eventually move up within the company even to other branches. Co-workers are nice and very professional. This was a very professional place yet very casual and enjoyable. The only reason i quit that job is because tellers start at 10/hr which is less then what an In-n-Out employee makes. Although you can move $1 up every time you go from CSR I to II to III, it is still very hard for you to complete the chart if there is not a lot of movement in the branch, and banks are very susceptible to the economy so I'm not sure how many times they have freeze raises and promotions. Good people, Good resources, very professional Low pay for tellers 2.0 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 3.0 5.0 Jan 16th, 2021 04:42AM Mar 20th, 2021 02:31AM First Northern Community Bancorp
