Northway Bank is an extremely pleasurable company to work with. The community and support you are surrounded with is amazing and you can always find help anywhere you go. Northway has taught me many things that I have used in my personal life including social networking skills, banking/budgeting tips, and general knowledge about finances that I would have never known before. My coworkers have always had my back at all times and I have never been hesitant to ask for support whenever I needed it. The work responsibilities can seem tough but you get all the proper training you need to get the work done efficiently and effectively. I have worked here for multiple summers in-between my college semesters and now have a full-time position, and I cannot praise Northway enough!

Each day can be extremely different than the last day, some days there will be little work and others be extremely busy with very little time to take a break, being resilient is very crucial in this field of work.

One of the things I appreciate the most is that everyone is very supportive and focused on the success of their employees and coworkers. The hours of operation make it easy to have a positive work life balance. It has been easy to take my paid vacation time. They also offer Sick time, Health insurance, Paid holidays, as well as other benefits. There's a focus on growth and development, accompanied by thorough training. Overall, I feel like the company truly cares about its employees

Training is so important when it comes to changing jobs, I've had a really great experience so far, especially with being new to the banking industry. Everyone has been so kind and helpful when it comes to teaching you processes and really invest into you and your career. They're so willing, and encourage, internal job changes and promotions.

The PTO provided is a little dated and could for sure use some changes. Also, not everyone is eligible for remote work, it would be great if there was remote opportunities for all.
