The company atmosphere is the best. Everyone is really willing to help you be successful.
The industry is growing which is great for sales. The company promotes from within which is also great to see if you work hard.
There is a committee that plans fun events for everyone to participate. If you lack industry knowledge the marketing team has educational material that is easily accessible.

3PL Central is ripe with opportunity for individuals who are proactive and engaging. Smaller but fast-growing, there is plenty of room for people to step in and shore up gaps. More importantly, you are rewarded AND respected for doing so.
A great environment for proactive individuals that wish to be integral and leave their own mark on the company.

There are definitely some growing pains. Not every process has been solidified or thought through. Redundancy does not exist at every position.
This is fairly consistent with companies of this size. For employees that want simple patterned work experiences, this may be somewhat jarring.
However, if you want to be vitally important and not seen as a cog in an engine, this probably is a Pro, not a Con.

This review is specifically for the HQ in El Segundo (but this goes across the company as well)
- Company culture is the best around. You are working with peers that you respect and truly get along with. The party planning committee (yes, there is one) hosts board game nights, happy hours, beach bonfires, etc. There's also work events that help everyone understand current trends in the industry to help you perform your job better.
- Lots of room for growth. You are accountable for your own success here. You will be given lots of opportunities to grow and own your domain. Plus, if you have an idea/suggestion of how to do things better, you have a direct line of contact with the CEO.
- Great work/life balance. Leadership is understanding of personal matters and help you personally as well as professionally.
- Hyper-focused on customer success. This makes work fulfilling everyday.
- Great benefits.
- Unlimited PTO.
- Lots of potential. Software and logistics are growing by the day.

The most prominent perks of working here include work flexibility (some people come in at 4am, some 11am); the overall atmosphere and culture (awesome people and nerf gun wars); being able to do fulfilling work that makes a difference in people's lives; having routine, fun work events (who doesn't love tacos and beer); unlimited PTO; casual clothing; stocked snacks and filtered water; and being right in the middle of a nice shopping center if you need a breath of fresh air.

If you don't like transparency, don't work here. We try to keep everything out in the open and keep others accountable. I honestly can't think of any negative things to say about 3PL Central; anything I could complain about is currently being (or has already been) revamped through the new CEO.
