These aspects contribute to a more comfortable and productive work environment.

My time at 42 North Dental, also known as Gentle Dental, was a mixed experience due to the regional director's behavior. While the organization provided the necessary resources, it was the regional director who proved to be a significant obstacle. She seemed more focused on creating a divisive atmosphere among employees, akin to an Adele obsession over Beyoncé. Communication with her was challenging, as she was often hard to reach. This presented problems, especially when addressing urgent issues in a new company, as I had to seek help from colleagues who didn't always have the answers. To make matters worse, I was told to consult my direct mentor, only to be later chastised for not waiting for the regional director, Julie, who was frequently unavailable. Many dentists left due to her poor management style, further highlighting the problems within the organization. The departure of a dentist due to feeling unsupported and underpaid was another issue. Her inappropriate text messages added to the discomfort. Despite these challenges, my transfer request was denied, even though the company later closed the location, leaving me wondering about the justification for their decision. When I raised my concerns with Human Resources and other managers, their reluctance to address the regional director's behavior was disheartening. It seemed that they placed undue authority on Julie, and there were allegations of fabricated stories to protect her, raising questions about fairness and equality within the company. In summary, 42 North Dental may offer the necessary resources, but the issues surrounding the regional director, management problems, and the departure of numerous dentists cast a shadow over the overall experience.

This place talks about diversity but they don’t actually live it. I have never worked for a more racist company in my entire life. Hispanics get criticized for the way they speak and no matter how hard they work they never get looked at for upper management positions. If you want to grow as a Hispanic Woman please look somewhere else trust me the hard work and tears are not worth it
