We were acquired and although upper management looked said they were interested in our prototype work they never followed through incorporating our project. Probably bought us for our contracts in DC so not entirely surprised.

Might need to slow down to do things right the first time, instead of an iterative process. Company was up for sale, during which time the lack of appreciation for support staff increased significantly.

Leadership is not well organized and more of a 'follower' mentality. Lower level leadership will just on the bandwagon with decisions and some of the lower level leadership does not seem to have very much experience or training.

Offer continuing professional development to staff members, especially leadership. Some lower level management would throw other members of the team under the bus just simply to save their own skin versus taking ownership for any issues that may arise. Did not feel as though employees have the support of the company; employees were treated as disposable and not valued.
