Strong Opportunities, Great Benefits, Always Changing Environment. Overall, Able Planet is a great place to work. Able Planet is a small Colorado company that has a good competitive standing. As long as you are committed to the cause of building the business, finish tasks assigned to you in a timely manner, and take responsibility for your failures there are no issues with the CEO or any other employee.

Many employees that have moved through Able Planet were had serious commitment issues and were not forthcoming with their working capabilities during the interview process and were let go. Unfortunately this puts their work load on the employees that work here and we have to share the load until a replacement is found. But that is just how small business works.

They pay time and a half for overtime. It is a great family business. Sometimes they provide meals. Pay is great.

All depends on you if you’re like chit-chat pimp, or looking for 8-5 hours not able to handle other than your limited work than certainly this is not the right place to work. On the contrary if you’re goal oriented, wants to change your life, willing to jump to challenge for your career than this company has what it takes to make you successful.

Every company has challenges in this day and age, up’s and down, bump and turns that’s how it works. That doesn’t give prerogative to diatribe the company as opprobrium. If you think this company debilitate others life than why do you think people are still working for seven years since company started.

Leadership. Lead by the voices in your head, not the ones in reality. Make sure that you can lie to customers and NOT give them the money they are owed. Be able to blame people below you so that you still look good. Make sure you have not ethics too.

There really aren't any pros here. I did like the people I worked with. We were all just cogs in the CEO's wheel.
|
Hostile work environment...the CEO would have fits of rage, scream at all the employees calling us derogatory names, while literally chasing a former employee out of the building. The company was in such dire straits and he blames the employees for his failures. He doesn't take responsibility for his decisions as CEO, we all did the jobs of several employees, never received raises or praises for a job well done. We were always told there's no money for raises but relatives of the CEO would get bonuses, etc.

Free headphones, really, that's about it. Since there is a 20 word min, I also say there are some fun conventions since it is consumer electronics.

Terrible management run by a CEO who has no idea what he is doing and has no personal skills. He doesn't know how to talk to employees in a proper professional manner. CEO has no idea how to run a business, over orders inventory and creates an inferior product. If you want to work for someone with a big vision but can't execute and then blames you for his failure to lead and never be rewarded for your hard work, by all means apply here. All the employees are overworked and stressed to make more money to fill the CEO's pocket. Employees are under paid bc management always claims the company is strapped for cash. My advice, don't work here.
