Flexible scheduling

The company is very focused on the happiness of the employees. Scheduling is not an issue but accountability is. The potential for growth and development are promising. If you are looking to be rewarded for what you do and to be held accountable for your work product then you may want to reconsider. If you desire a work place where you are never be held accountable for anything and allowed to basically come to work...(when you want to) provide a poor work product and still get paid..this is where you should work.

It was an extremely stressful place to work. They were a start-up that had management who wasn't ready to make the next step. It was very long days and nights with little reward.

-They do not pay their sub-contractors
-Been working for well over 60 days and still no pay out. They give the run around "your check should be in the mail next week" or "someone should have called you about that"
-Upper management ignore calls/emails 90% of the time. Be lucky if you ever get a call back.
-Never can provide brand new equipment, everything is used and more than half of it is defective.
-Problematic systems put in place with absolutely no building code standards followed.
-Some techs/supervisors have zero knowledge on DTV systems.
Advice to Management
Pay your sub-contractors, they are the ones dealing with the most out in the field.

When I first was hired, the theory was I could make up to $85,000 a year from commissions. By the time of the third restructure in salary, a perfect employee could only obtain up to $55,000 (realistically $40-50k) while being asked to do about three times the work. Point blank, if you just need a job, it's pretty low key and stress free but you will be on borrowed time. Lots of employees have been let go or quit due to the incompetence of upper management. Working in the cable industry means poor customer service and you'll end doing a lot of damage control between properties and customers. They've also had issues paying contractors as well. I wouldn't be surprised if this company ends up selling in the next year or two to another provider as they just seem to be way over their head with the amount of properties they've acquired within the last year.
