I personally watched them fire half my team, one at a time. First threatening, then trying to get everyone working 60+ hours, then asking everyone to write "glowing reviews" on Glassdoor.
Never, never work here. It is a meat grinder. And everyone is back-stabbing, racist and misogynistic.

Great start to my career, a lot of opportunities

Having been at the company for 5+ years, and seeing it grow from less than 100 to over 1000 employees during my time has been exciting. Growing through acquisitions provides ample opportunity for career advancement and new challenges, especially if directly involved in acquisition dealings. The people at Accruent are great, and are what have kept me there for so long. Pay at Accruent is less than desired, and is no secret if you do your research. Given the size of the company, this problem can't continue - The company needs to step up and start paying more if it wishes to retain talent and be successful. Product direction needs more inclusion of customer feedback - both for bugs and product suggestions. Investments for internal tools that are needed for the size the company has grown to be, as well as investment in people growth is not prioritized and is noticed. All that said, I'm still a fan of the overall culture and have created not just working relationships but personal friendships with my peers, which I value deeply. I've gained the vast majority of my professional experience at a company that took a chance on a low experience recent college graduate who was looking to move to Austin, and I'm grateful for all the opportunities I've been provided.
