This place is toxic and is run like a prison. It is owned by a family and fraught with nepotism. I’ve seen many good workers and managers come and go. It’s a job with reasonable pay. But, keep your head down and don’t question the family.

Cameras are even watching 👀your Bathroom Stalls both Men and Women by The Owner ( for Safety) I was told most Heart attack s Happen in the bathroom? He built a new Building complete with a walk way all the way around the facility he can walk and look down on his workforce . A little to much control for me. but the level 3 was excellent .and very knowledgeable in the NDT trade. He moved on though creating his own company

If you want a job and not a career
|
Well, the buildings are clean with some decent insurance. The technology is decent. Some employees are nice. There are constant reviews, training, and your manager will continuously check on you every 2 hours with little guidance or direction. It almost feels like you are being watched at all times. Management will tell you that they are there for you and will accommodate your needs. They are there to help you succeed and are there to vent to them about anything. During my interview, they made several offers that they didn't keep. Some employees have special treatment. Gossip will be talked about employees behind their back. Here you are just a number and they do not care about you. No matter what you do, even if you are top performer management will take the credit for what you do. If management doesn't like you they will let you go. So no job security.

management is run based on emotions and not professionalism. As professionals, we have disagreements and occasionally will head butt. It's just how it is. Not everyone will be on the same page and it's not like there's swearing back and forth. Just your usual disagreement. If you disagreed or question management's choices, you're automatically marked for termination whenever possible. Management takes it as an attack on their ego and company. As soon as a lay-off comes around, you bet you're going. In fact, I was even told my one of the long time employee there and a lay-off is basically a chance for the company to get rid of those who do not see eye to eye even if they're the best and most efficient employees.
Constructive criticisms do not work here. You become the enemy when you give constructive criticisms. Don't believe me? Work there and try it..
If you want to last there, just go, shut up and work. Rinse and repeat. Don't waste your time giving inputs. You will quickly realized that all those who have been there for 15+ yrs are exactly like that.
Lastly, when it comes to a lay off, at least 50% of the employees will go. The turn over rate there is also extremely high. Highest out of all companies I have worked for. People who have been there for 10+ yrs would just up an leave. Around close to 20 full employees quit in the span of 2 yrs.
I'm sure the truth is hard for Ace to swallow..

Stay away if you don’t absolutely have to work here. This place should be a last resort only. The boss is a privileged man-baby that has a fit whenever something doesn’t go his way and thinks he is better than all his employees because he’s more wealthy. Most of the management is family so there’s really no one to voice complaints too.
