What is the best part of working at the company?
Knowing that you are free to share ideas or concerns with the administration and they listen. An organization that cares about their employees. Appreciation and recognition for your work is shown in many ways including pay rates.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As a nurse there are times when you can have a patient not doing well and having those conversations with families. Can be heartbreaking.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Strong team work. Encouraged supporting your co-workers.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Receive report on your patients (ratios are typically good), morning huddle, meet with RT, Case manager updates, round with physicians. Assess patients, update families, provide excellent care for the patients. Few challenges.

The only thing they care in AH is discharging pts! You are more like a server than a nurse. Pay is awful like other FL hospitals! High nurse turnover rate. Nurse leaders barely have more than 2 yrs experience and usually canât help if you need them. HR answers to your questions are vague.

Management is disgusting, my first day training she was making the girl next to me cry. the manager of orlando health was extremely upset about a situation and how our manager was speaking to pts so the pt (orlando health manager) told us she felt sorry for us because of our management and told us to get a new job. OVER 15+ QUIT WITHIN LESS THAN 1 YEAR AND HR DID NOTHING NO MATTER HOW MANY COMPLAINTS THERE WAS. ADVENT HEALTH DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES.

Itâs an ok place to work, health insurance is very expensive, not much vacation time, no paid holidays, comes out of your PDO, not much room for advancement unless you got connections.
