This company is Unorganized. Management team Lacks accountability. They do not support new employees unless it is a family member or friend, a lot of Nepotism. They give idle threats and lead with fear but it is almost impossible to get fired.

gives me patients
i typically have 20+ kids and we do home work in in that the next activity will include a learning activities using one of the five senses witch can be slime making, its a fun but a learning activity , it helps the child to experience the sense of touch and the experiment of making it.

The children are great but the program is unorganized.
|
This company is the perfect example of "don't judge a book by its cover". The overall national company itself seems to be a great concept. However, the Cleveland chapter is an unorganized diaster. They have a high turnover rate for employees and children because of laziness and the lack of effective communication for/to parents, program leaders, SC, or principals. Definitely ran on a whim unfortunately there's no real structure just empty promises.
The best thing about this opportunity is being able to further educate today's youth, but it comes at a huge cost with little pay.

Great mission but challenges with management

The work ASAS Las Vegas does is awesome. The students and staff at each school site are great folks. Management has undergone multiple shifts over the years and it has really taken a toll on the organization development and culture.

I absolutely love worship for after school all stars. I do believe it’s a great job for experience. If you are able to move up I would do it. But higher up positions are hard to come by because nobody wants to leave! Lol Definitely learning a lot that I know if I ever do leave this position I will be prepared for the next one.

It was not managed like Student success institute.
SSI was more on top of things.
I felt that we weren’t aligned at after school all stars. Everyday we’d just wing it and not have an actually have a goal of what to do.

Too Restrictive, Lots of Judgement

Not really my first choice for after school programs. Management isn't that great or helpful. The work environment wasn't great either. Whenever coming up with something innovative or new, the idea would get shot down immediately. Not really what I'd call a fun after school. Kids need a break from learning after school, so why force them to do more?
