Good people for the most part but that's about as good as it gets.
|
Work life balance is not there when you are expected to respond even on your days off. The executive leadership team is mediocre to say the least. They should strongly consider reductions at that level also the next time they plan for layoffs which seems to be happening regularly with at least three waives of layoffs in just a few months. Diversity is also clearly not an agency priority and there's limited opportunities for advancement.

Some teams are absolute all-stars and high performing. Jen leads an incredible creative team with deep human bonds. Darshan is one of the kindest leaders and he truly cares for his team. There is a great roster of clients that inspire confidence and excitement.

Leadership is stagnant and doesn't inspire confidence - there's a great deal of talk around DEI but very little buy in from certain corners of the company . They go through cycles of layoffs quite frequently and there isn't a great deal of transparency. They do a terrible job of onboarding - sit in a seat and watch a 1 hour slide deck. The team is split in two cities and there are DEEP divides between those two offices. Which team you are on will also likely determine how much you enjoy your time at A&G. The business leadership (account management), strategy team, HR, and media teams have significant challenges around culture. They're either overworked, undersocialized, poorly led, or deeply fractured (in order). I would stay away unless there is significant changes in leadership from the C-suite and leadership of the more fractured teams. What seemed to be a good organization pre-COVID feels like it's falling apart.
