Good supervision, lots of support when you need it. You'll get to have at least a couple different supervisors, so you get to experience different styles and opinions, which is nice. There is always someone around the clinic to ask for help/advice if you're unsure about something. A great place to network and build connections with your fellow therapist trainees and associates - I made friends and connections that I know will endure for years to come. You really have to advocate for yourself if you aren't getting enough hours, or if you want to work with a particular population - they'll help you make the most of your time here if you ask, but know going into it that you've got to speak up and advocate for yourself, otherwise you will get frustrated! Some people complain about the paperwork but it's not that bad as long as you manage your time and stay on top of it. CEO unexperienced and immature, like someone said above, they use people and say they are permanent when they are really just temporary, the office space is old and dirty, no benefits, no grievance procedure, unorganized management with no consistency, getting written up and blamed for things you didn't do, They have a tight budget and you will be sacraficed without justification or cause. Management is callous and simply does not care what it does to people. Needs to take a management course or two. Lets emotions take over rational thinking. Many face to face hours, child hours, learning to do intakes, and writing reports. Best of all, very organized and all interns are so kind and welcoming to new trainees. Depends what supervisor you get and some play favorites.
